Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival to Saigon       

On arrival at the airport, transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: Saigon–Mekong Delta

Breakfast at hotel. Take a transfer to Ben Tre, a small town, hidden within the Mekong Delta, has recently stepped out to be a destination in its own right. This peaceful retreat offers many charming surprises besides the lush vegetation, snaking canals, and enchanting smiles. A day to Ben Tre is a day when you are no longer a tourist but a true resident embarking on a sensory voyage of discovery. Taste and smell local exotic fruits, “garden-made” cuisine. Complete your experience listening to the sounds of boat, and certainly the banter and laughter of local people, modest yet hospitable. Transfer back Saigon. Accommodation at hotel. (B)

Day 3: Saigon City Tour–Hoi An

Breakfast at hotel. This city tour will take you to History Museum and The National Museum of Viet Nam in Saigon, it received its current name in 1979. It is a museum showcasing Vietnam’s history with exhibits from all periods. Next is photo stop at Notre Dame Cathedral, General Post office and Reunification Palace or Independence Palace (Dinh Độc Lập), Continue to visit the museum of Vietnamese traditional medicine (FITO), the only museum of its kind in Vietnam. Afterward, continue to visit Binh Tay Market, the central market of Cholon, your Chinatown discovery ends with a one-hour cyclo tour through Cholon, including a visit to Thien Hau Pagoda and a stop at a local medicine vendor to learn more about the traditional way of healing. Transfer for flight to Da Nang, welcome and forward to Hoi An. Accommodation at resort. (B)  

Day 4: Hoi An

Breakfast at the resort. Free at leisure in the morning. Take a walking tour of Hoi An, discover the historic town which used to be a prosperous seaport city during the 16th to 18th centuries. Visit Hoi An colourful local market, Tan Ky old house, Fukien Assembly Hall, and the 400-year-old Japanese covered bridge. Accommodation at resort. (B) 

Day 5: Hoi An–Da Nang–Halong Bay

Breakfast at the resort. Transfer to Da Nang airport for early flight 6:15 a.m. to Hanoi.

8:00: Welcome at the airport and forward to Ha Long Bay.

11:30–12:15: Arrival at Hon Gai International Pier and welcome at Victory Cafe

12:15: Transfer to cruise ship, welcome drink, cruise briefing, safety instructions, check-in cabins.

13:00: Serve a delicious Vietnamese set lunch as Victory Star heads to Bai Tu Long Bay passing the towns of Hon Gai and Cam Pha, Oan Lagoon, Mat Quy (Monster Head) and Am Tich (Teapot) Islets,

15:00: Transfer from Victory Star Cruise to rowing boat to visit Vung Vieng fishing village, visit the Floating village (1hour), Rowers are local girls wearing traditional costume.

16:00: Return to Victory Star Cruise for free time at your leisure or join one of the following optional activities: Kayak into the floating village or swim near the boat.

Option on board activities: Sunbathing, traditional massage, etc.

17:00: Continue cruising through the bay.

18:00: Anchorage for overnight at Ho Dong Tien.

19:30: Savour a delicious five course set-dinner in the dining room.

21:00: Activities: Relax on sundeck, Beauty Spa services, Happy Hour available or night time fishing.

Day 6: Ha Long–Hanoi

06:30 Enjoy sunrise over the Bay or take part in our morning Tai Chi class

07:00: Light breakfast. Victory Star weighs anchor to cruise through the Bay passing beautiful spots like Trong (Drum), Trinh Nu (Virgin) and Me Cung Caves, Coc Ngoi (Toad) Islet, etc.

08:00: Arrive at Sung Sot Grotto. Explore the most famous grotto of Ha Long Bay.

09:30: Check-out cabins, luggage collection.

10.00: Late buffet breakfast and settle bills while cruising through the bay to the pier.

Drive back to Hanoi, Arrive in Hanoi, the rest of the day is free at leisure. Accommodation at hotel. (LB, BB)

Day 7: Hanoi 

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to city for half day city visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside), continue to visit the Temple of Literature Confucius; this is the site of Vietnam’s first university dating back to 1070. The complex is divided into five courtyards with different paths that would originally have been reserved for the Emperor and his mandarins. One of the courtyards contains the statue of Confucius guarded by two beautiful bronze storks standing on turtles. Later, take an hour cyclo tour stroll around the Old Quarter include visit Ngoc Son Temple .The rest of the day is free at leisure. Accommodation at hotel. (B)  

Day 8: Hanoi–Beirut           

Breakfast at hotel. Free at leisure until transfer to the airport for departure flight to Beirut. (B)

3 Days /2 nights

Day 8: Hanoi–Siem Reap

Breakfast at Hotel. Free at leisure until time to transfer to the airport for Siem Reap.

Upon arrival at Siem Reap Airport, you will be welcomed by local English speaking guide who will escort you directly to the hotel for check-in. Lunch at leisure. In the afternoon, you will first visit of Angkor Wat Temple (during the visit of Angkor Wat temple, visitors should wear shirts or blouse covering shoulders and arms and long skirts, trousers covering legs). Dinner will be served at hotel. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap. (B, D)          

Day 9: Siem Reap

Breakfast at hotel. Morning drive out off Siem Reap for visit Banteay Srey temple and also Banteay Samré temple. Lunch at leisure. Afternoon, visit Bayon temple and Ta Prohm temple. Dinner will be served at hotel. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap. (B, D)    

Day 10: Siem Reap–Departure

Breakfast at hotel. This morning you visit to artisans and local market then transfer to the airport for departure flight to Beirut. (B)
